From STL to Tabletop
MimicWorkshop is a specialized, home-based production workshop in Davie, Florida. Small by design and professional by standard: every piece we ship is printed, cleaned, cured and inspected here, by hand, before it goes into a box.
The workshop grew out of the hobby itself. Years at the table playing tabletop RPGs and board games, and just as many years at the bench building static scale models, taught us what separates a piece that looks good in a photograph from one that holds up in your hands — clean edges, crisp detail, a base that sits flat, and a surface that takes primer without fighting you. That is the standard we print to, because it is the standard we want for our own table.
How we work
Local craftsmanship. Nothing is drop-shipped and nothing is outsourced. Orders are produced on demand in our Davie workshop, so what arrives is a piece we handled personally rather than one pulled off an anonymous shelf.
Strict quality control. Every print is checked before it ships — layer quality, detail retention, support-mark cleanup and base flatness. A piece that does not meet the standard is reprinted, not discounted.
Official licensing. We are not a marketplace and we do not sell STL files. Everything in the catalog is produced under a commercial license from the designers who created it, and attribution is enforced by our own systems — not left to good intentions.

That curation is deliberate. By limiting our sources we guarantee a consistent art style, controlled licensing, and predictable production quality across everything we ship.

Scenery and storage are on the bench
Our full catalog reaches well beyond miniatures — modular scenery and terrain, and the modular storage and transport systems that keep a collection organized. Those pieces are already in production in the workshop; their dedicated sections are still being configured on this web platform, so miniatures are what you can order today. The rest follows as each section is finished.
